FACILITIES:

Houses of Prayer:

Given the MISSION of this Seminary, spiritual formation of the future candidates to the Priesthood is of prime importance and occupies a central place in the seminary’s entire life. At the centre of the seminary campus therefore stand the two major houses of prayer, namely the HOLY FAMILY CHAPEL (The Main Chapel), and the CHAPEL OF OUR LADY ( The Lady Chapel).

The Main Chapel, built of sun-dried bricks in 1912, and consecrated by Bishop Streicher on May 15th 1927, has enough space for comfortable prayer and meditation for the entire seminary community of over 280 seminarians, 10 priests, 22 lay teaching staff members, and 14 support staff members.

The Lady Chapel, also built of sun-dried bricks in early 1905, offers a good environment for spiritual exercises of small groups of seminarians and staff members now and then.
