CURRICULUM:
The school curriculum encompasses six years of study, aimed at the development of intellectual, practical and moral skills of the students.
O' Level:
The Ordinary (O) level curriculum enables students to choose subjects on the basis of interest and ability. Remedial and extra lessons are organized to assist students with learning difficulties. Therefore students are guided to appreciate their capabilities and limitations.
Subjects offered at “O”level (Senior One to Four) include:
Mathematics, English Language , Biology , Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture, Home Economics, Computer studies, Commerce, Accounts, Office Practice, Entrepreneurship Skills, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Luganda, Kiswahili, Art and Design, Political Education, Moral Ethics and Literature in English.
In senior three and four students are expected to take 8 to 10 subjects, the core subjects being Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry Physics, History and Geography.
The careers teacher helps students select the optional subjects. He also provides information and advice on careers and opportunities to universities and other institutions of higher learning.
A' Level:
We provide Arts and Science combinations to Advanced (A) level (Senior five and six).
The subjects offered include: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Foods and Nutrition, Agriculture, Geography, Economics, Divinity, Entrepreneurship Skills, Art and Design, General Paper, Luganda, Kiswahili, History and Literature in English.
The advanced level curriculum continues to develop and enable students pursue multiple learning path ways and careers both academic and vocational.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
To supplement academic achievements, the students have access to a variety of co-curricular activities which include games like: athletics, netball, volleyball and badminton, as well as a good number of indoor games.
Students also enjoy music, dance and drama of various cultures and participate in clubs such as that of Young Rotarians (commonly known as Interactors), Wildlife, Xaverians etc.
With a broad and balanced education, we encourage our students to realize their full potential and excel in future as responsible adults.
